Frequently asked questions

Is foraging safe, and what are the golden rules?
Foraging can be a wonderful way to connect with nature and the seasons, but safety is paramount. The absolute golden rule: never eat anything you cannot identify with 100% certainty — some wild plants and especially mushrooms are deadly, and look-alikes catch out even experienced foragers. Learn from a reputable guidebook, a knowledgeable person or a local foraging group rather than apps alone. Only forage where it's legal and permitted, take only what you'll use, leave plenty for wildlife, and never strip an area. If in any doubt at all, leave it out. This is general information, not expert foraging advice.
Is it really free?
Yes — no email, no sign-up.
Can I print it more than once?
Yes — print as many copies as you need.
