Frequently asked questions

What is an OKR and how do you write a good one?
OKR stands for Objectives and Key Results — a goal-setting framework popularised by Intel and Google. The Objective is a single, qualitative, inspiring statement of what you want to achieve (e.g. 'Become the go-to tool for small UK studios'); the Key Results are two to four measurable outcomes that prove you got there (e.g. 'grow active accounts from 200 to 500'). The key discipline is that key results are measurable outcomes, not tasks or activities — 'launch a campaign' is a task, 'reach 1,000 sign-ups' is a result. Keep it to one focused objective per quarter, review progress weekly, and aim for stretching but not impossible targets.
Is it really free?
