Frequently asked questions

What should be in a wedding day emergency kit?
A wedding emergency kit is a small bag of fixes for the little things that inevitably crop up, usually looked after by the maid of honour or best man. The essentials fall into a few groups: quick repairs (safety pins, a mini sewing kit, fashion tape, scissors, stain wipes for the dress); health and comfort (plasters including blister plasters, painkillers, antihistamines, tissues, mints, deodorant); touch-ups (lipstick, powder, hairpins, a spare hair tie, hairspray); and practical bits (a phone charger or power bank, some cash, snacks and water, and flat shoes for dancing). It rarely all gets used — but the one time something tears, pinches or stains, you'll be very glad it's there.
Is it really free?
