What to include
- A clear, recent photo — the bigger the better
- Pet's name, breed, colour and distinguishing features
- Where and when last seen
- Whether they are microchipped
- Your phone number in large text
- Reward offered (optional but increases responses)
Where to post it
- Lamp posts and telegraph poles within 500m of where they went missing
- Local vets and pet shops
- Nextdoor, Facebook local groups and dedicated lost pets groups
- Doglost.co.uk or similar registries (UK)
