What manoeuvres are tested on the UK driving test?
Since changes to the practical test, the examiner asks you to perform one of three possible manoeuvres: parking in a bay (either driving in and reversing out, or reversing in and driving out), parallel parking at the side of the road, or pulling up on the right-hand side, reversing about two car lengths, and rejoining the traffic. The test also includes about 20 minutes of independent driving, often following a sat nav.
